The Mother Bass Drum is a no-nonsense drum guaranteed to satisfy your need for low-end BOOM. The Mother Bass Drum came about when I needed a low cost drum to practice my taiko drumming on. I used a 55 gallon steel barrel (blue in color, previously used for recycled motor oil) with the top and bottom cut out, steel rings, heavy cowskin and high-quality drum rope to assemble this drum.
